17.1 Nepal …………. In order to coordinate the work of the committees to be formed in different localities, market rural areas, urban areas and regional development centers, the Government of Nepal may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and constitute an Urban Development Central Coordinating Committee. 17.2 Fifty percent of the total number of members in the committee will be public representatives and social workers. 17.3 The members of the committee constituted as per sub-section 17.1 and the term of office of such members shall be as specified in the notification under the same sub-section. 17.4 The Government of Nepal, if it deems necessary, may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and make necessary additions, reductions or changes in the members of the committee formed under sub-section 17.1 subject to sub-section 17.2. 17.5 The work, duties and rights of the committee constituted as per sub-section 17.1 shall be as prescribed.
